News, Updates, & Rambling

Wow, another event down for 2016! Read Between The Vines was a blast and I want to thank the Woodward Public Library Foundation for inviting me to participate. Snus Hill Winery was an unusual, yet perfect venue. A very relaxed atmosphere that allowed me to chat with both readers and other writers.

There is nothing like the creative energy of a room full of writers, except the energy of readers.

I was totally blown away when a lovely lady announced, “I’m here to see you!” It was one of those moments that leaves you speechless. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, she’s never speechless, she’s always rambling about something. But I’ve got to tell you, it ALWAYS astounds me when someone recognizes me, tells me they like the books, or shows up at an event because I’m there. Seriously, mind blown!

Another mind blower, I kinda made the paper… You can check out the article on Read Between The Vines over on The Perry News.

As much fun as events are, I’m glad this is the last one of the season… It was going to be my last, but I can’t say no to my Prairieland Peeps. I’ll probably be there for Black Friday and possibly Small Business Saturday. You of course will be the first to know, I’ll post it here under appearances.

In other news, I had virtual coffee with the awesome Ally Shields. We sat down and had a little chat, well, she asked questions and I rambled on. You can read all about it on her site. While you’re there, check out her books!

And oh, yeah, before I forget, Shadow Play is up for pre-order on Amazon, Kobo, and iBooks. I’m thinking we might have a little Meadowlarks release party on the Facebook group page. You know, the usual tomfoolery, shenanigans, and possibly some giveaways.

It’s been a busy month, but there’s no rest for the wicked. I’ve got to get started on book five…
